JavaScript: Find the armstrong numbers of 3 digits

JavaScript Conditional Statement and loops: Exercise-9 with Solution

Write a JavaScript program to find the armstrong numbers of 3 digits.

Note : An Armstrong number of three digits is an integer such that the sum of the cubes of its digits is equal to the number itself. For example, 371 is an Armstrong number since 3**3 + 7**3 + 1**3 = 371.

JavaScript Code:

function three_digit_armstrong_number()
{
 for (var i = 1; i < 10; ++i)
 {
   for (var j = 0; j < 10; ++j)
     {
        for (var k = 0; k < 10; ++k)
        {
          var pow = (Math.pow(i,3) + Math.pow(j,3) + Math.pow(k,3));
          var plus = (i * 100 + j * 10 +  k);
          if (pow == plus)
           {
             console.log(pow);
            }
         }

JavaScript: Tips of the Day

How to insert an item into an array at a specific index (JavaScript)?

What you want is the splice function on the native array object.

arr.splice(index, 0, item); will insert item into arr at the specified index (deleting 0 items first, that is, it's just an insert). In this example we will create an array and add an element to it into index 2:

var arr = [];
arr[0] = "Jani";
arr[1] = "Hege";
arr[2] = "Stale";
arr[3] = "Kai Jim";
arr[4] = "Borge";

console.log(arr.join());
arr.splice(2, 0, "Lene");
console.log(arr.join());
