JavaScript: Iterates the integers from 1 to 100

JavaScript Conditional Statement and loops: Exercise-7 with Solution

Write a JavaScript program which iterates the integers from 1 to 100. But for multiples of three print "Fizz" instead of the number and for the multiples of five print "Buzz". For numbers which are multiples of both three and five print "FizzBuzz".

Sample Solution:-

HTML Code:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset=utf-8 />
<title>JavaScript FizzBuzz program</title>
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

JavaScript Code:

for ( var i = 1; i <= 100; i++ )
{
  if ( i%3 === 0 && i%5 === 0 )
  {
    console.log( i + " FizzBuzz" );
  }
  else if ( i%3 === 0 )
  {
    console.log(i+ " Fizz" );
  }
  else if ( i%5 === 0 )
  {
    console.log(i+ " Buzz" );
  }
  else
  {
    console.log(i);
  }
}

Sample Output:

1
2
3 Fizz
4
5 Buzz
6 Fizz
7
8
9 Fizz
10 Buzz

JavaScript: Tips of the Day

How to insert an item into an array at a specific index (JavaScript)?

What you want is the splice function on the native array object.

arr.splice(index, 0, item); will insert item into arr at the specified index (deleting 0 items first, that is, it's just an insert). In this example we will create an array and add an element to it into index 2:

var arr = [];
arr[0] = "Jani";
arr[1] = "Hege";
arr[2] = "Stale";
arr[3] = "Kai Jim";
arr[4] = "Borge";

console.log(arr.join());
arr.splice(2, 0, "Lene");
console.log(arr.join());
